While I was online poking around the news updates, I came across two articles that stunned me.

The first is entitled “The Science of Growing Body Parts” and it talks about an InkJet printer that has been “jury-rigged” to “print” human organs.  Here’s the link to the full article: http://www.time.com/time/health/article/0,8599,1679115,00.html

The second article is called, astonishingly enough, “The Great Uncircumcision Debate.”  There is apparently an ever-increasing trend of adult men actively taking steps to “regrow” their foreskin; the article mentions one inventor, “R. Wayne Griffiths, a construction inspector whom some consider the granddaddy of foreskin restoration, jury-rigged a system…” (Note the second use of the term jury-rigged within two articles written by two different women.)

Oh, another interesting tidbit, the author of the Uncircumcision article…her married name is St. John.  The Gospel of John, I believe, is not just the only book in the Gospel to use the full term circumcision, but it’s also the only one to use any form of the word ‘circumcision’  while referencing Moses.  (See KJV John 7: 22-23)
