Moving Story

I thought this quote was interesting. It is from a
journal of the kid who was the North Carolina Tar
Heels Mascot. He was killed this past March when he
was hit by a car walking back to the team hotel. It
says:
Is it possible to have a healthy fear of death? Since
Adam, all but two people have passed away. It’s an
inevitable end. People must see death, for ignoring it
is simply lying to yourself. There are two ways to
look at it: 1.) people acknowledge death and live
toward it. 2.) people choose to ignore death and
distance themselves away from it.

This is very insightful because it shows that there
are two ways of looking at our impending deaath. We
can either accept it, or try to fight it. Either way,
it is going to happen.
The whole story about this kid can be read at:

It is very compelling.
Andrew.
