Get Back! There’s a Train Coming Through!

I’m sure we have all seen them. The customers that come in and barely fit through the door because they are so pear-shaped their legs can hardly hold them up. They waddle in with only one thing in mind, to eat as much as they can so they can fill their basketball-sized stomachs. Know who I’m talking about yet? As you probably guessed I’m talking about fatties. Customers that come in and eat and drink as much as they possibly can. And it never fails, they are mostly always rude and arrogant and can never think of how you are feeling, but rather what they aren’t. This phenomenon has always astounded me. I don’t understand how a person can let themselves get to the point of not being able to see their feet. I do understand that there are those that have medical conditions, and cannot control how much they weigh, but they are probably not the ones that come in heaving and foaming at the mouth for food. When I have guests like this, I give them the same service I give to everyone else, but while I’m doing it I’m thinking to myself, “My goodness, maybe you shouldn’t be sitting here stuffing your face with all this food! Especially when you’ve just eaten eight biscuits and they’re 190 calories a piece!” People like this give me strength to never become like that, and it shows me how giving in to your wants can take control of your life. I just don’t understand how this person who literally weighs four times what I do, can be so oblivious to what they are doing to themselves, and if they aren’t, why the hell they aren’t doing something about it. It sometimes seems like they are blatantly ignoring the fact that they are extremely unhealthy and it is unwise to be indulging as such. These people can never get enough, and for some reason price never has any factor in deciding what to eat. Shoot, they could probably go a couple months without eating and still be their giant selves. I think these people should take more pride in themselves, and that it is okay to be overweight, but that these people just need to have enough self control to say when. This dilemma in our world, especially in this country, will never change. As long as fatties have a sign telling them food is available, their rampage will not end.
