This is the real deal. Finally I put some lighting in there and even a bathtub to set the scene. And got a good camera angle on it. I started using the actual squash deformer, here I’m using two deformers, one for the stretch, which I am rotating along with the angle of the bounce, and a squash which only happens on the ground, in a single direction. There are a couple of places where I’d like to clean it up (on the 2nd bounce it’s a bit sharp) but the deformers aren’t quite cooperating and I’m sure it’d take another couple of hours so I’m leaving it as-is for tonight.

the second bounce should probably just be deeper. squish it down a bit more. maybe it’s harder to do with a non spherical shape like that, that’s understandable.

I think the only other comments i have is that it can be staged a little differently (give me more space up there at the top of the tub… e.g. it’s out of action safe), and at the very end, don’t let it just stop abruptly, let it wobble a little back and forth…
