Texas A&M Seeking Adjunct Instructors

The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M is currently accepting applications for an Adjunct Faculty members to teach two Homeland Security related courses. The two courses are “Homeland Security and Critical Infrastructure Protection” and “Cybersecurity for Managers.” Both courses are online courses and interested applicants are required to hold a terminal degree in the topic area, or a Master’s Degree with extensive work experience.

Interested applicants should submit by email the following required documents: cover letter, resume/vitae, copies of terminal degree transcripts, and three letter of recommendation to onlinefaculty@bushschool.tamu.edu.

National Homeland Defense Foundation Call for Papers

The National Homeland Defense Foundation has issued a call for papers for its October 27, 2008 symposium. The theme of the symposium will be “Securing Our Homelands Through International Collaboration; Neighbors Helping Neighbors.” Papers submitted must be relevant to the symposiums main theme, and may cover topics such as: “Respecting Cultural Distinctions; Coordinating International Disaster Response; Critical Infrastructure Protection; Intelligence/Information Sharing at Home and Abroad; and Balancing Liberty and Security in Defending Homelands Against Terrorism.”
