Hal W. Hall is the Curator for the Science Fiction and Fantasy Research Collection in the Cushing Library, Texas A&M University.  The collection is one of the major resources for the study of science fiction and fantasy in the United States.  As of August, 2006, the collections housed over 26,000 book titles, and some 90% of the English-language sceince fiction magazines.  The collection totals of over 44,000 items.  The collection houses the manuscripts and papers of a number of writers.  Among the larger archival collections are papers of Chad Oliver, George R. R. Martin, Avram Davidson, Michael Moorcock, Bill Crider, Joe Lansdale, Lisa Tuttle, Ardath Mayhar, and Sam Moskowitz.   The collection also has a wide variety of individual manuscripts of other writers.  Collections with complete processing and Finding Guides may be viewed at:  http://www.lib.utexas.edu/taro/browse/browse_tamu1.html
