cabbage juice for people with ulcers

To all the raw food enthusiasts, yet again I have found another reason to give your life style some more consideration. It tends to have some healing powers that I almost forgot about. I was just reminded by my brother who has an  ongoing ulcer. He told me that he does not know what to do about his ulcer and I remember doing this research about his ulcer that it was cabbage juice that gave the best results for recovery.  According to this research and some feed back given from other people you can actually drink it three times a day and see results in about 5 to ten days. It might even lead you to believe that you are cured but of course you should still consult with a doctor about your ulcer before making any rational decisions.

The way to make it is to buy any cabbage head from the market.  Slice off a half an inch from each side of the head and then put it into the blender. From there just add a cup of distilled water into the blender and than have it blend for a minute.  From there you let it sit for  five minutes.

One recipe out there is to take it with half cabbage and half carrot juice at a rate of one to two pints daily which is good for its cleansing abilities as well as its reducing properties (which means to chemically deoxidize).

Regularly you are on avergae supposed to drink three cups of this raw cabbage juice a day. Tyr not to let the juices smell bother you. Generally you will only taste the plainess of the juice but also you should not heat the cabbage because than it will lose its  ability heal the ulcers. The active ingredient is vitamin U ( not really an official vitamin but that is what it is called) an it is destroyed by heat.  It is also supposed to have millions of beneficial “friendly” bacteria that works against digestive ailments.  The best part about this recipe for treatment against ulcers is that it is cost effective.
