Dear Jerry,
Good Job on Project 2.

Obviously everyone liked it, and you put a lot of work into it, but there were a few suggestions for improvement that may result in a stronger animation.

-Did you slow down the camera - the camera movements are a bit discerning. Have a look here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/180_degree_rule for some tips on continuity in camera edits, and how to keep the line of action consistent. There are a lot of unnessescary cuts, and it might be better to focus on the actual character animation. The dramatic zoom outs and fast movement is distracting.

It is not 100% clear what the purpose of the teardrop is - is he stressed, sad etc.

Clearly stage the "lighting of the flame" it happens so quickly that it is not clear that the clap is what triggers the flame, think about anticipation and staging.

The monkey locomotion is a little floaty, the legs are not reacting to the weight, the body should move up and down more to make the legs look like they are taking the weight and pushing the body back up.

Also the knee joint seems to collide with "candle body" - may just be camera angle but might be worth looking at!

Nice Job Jerry - seems the play back speed is a little slow - could add more rotation to arms to exaggerate!
