Ryan has the 2008 list and is updating it for 2009.
Jane
Ryan and I are meeting with Betty to coordinate details for the Bird Team survey and outreach. He will bring the Bird Trunk for the Booth. Betty has sent us a list of volunteers from TMN-BV, and Ryan will add in the student volunteers on the team. Betty has confirmed the speakers for owl prowl, walks & talk.
Jane
Betty is the Bird Team leader. She met with Ryan at Lick Creek Park on March 7and talked about the preparations leading up to the survey and events. Ryan checked out the Bird Trunk to Betty.
Betty wrote; This is the way things stand as of today. Of course, if anyone would like to contribute more hours staffing the tent, your help will certainly appreciated!
Park in the equestrian parking lot and hoof over to the main parking area (Darrell, if you and your class will use the Pebble Creek entrance, you can avoid the congestion and ruckus on Rock Prairie).
Survey teams should be on the trails about 7 am. Although Jane Packard only needs species, I suggest that we count numbers as well, just like a CBC, so that I can enter the data into e-Bird. A trail map is attached. Owl=Prowlers, let’s meet in the main parking lot 15 minutes before the event.

Betty
All walks leave from the Speakers Tent in the Main parking lot.
How did the owl prowl turn out? any feedback on the survey procedures? suggestions for next year?
